“Just sit there right now. Don’t do a thing. Just rest.” —Hafiz

Human beings in all places and times must have their physical needs met in order to survive: food, shelter, clothing, and transportation. Inextricably linked are our spiritual needs for love, joy, beauty, and justice. They too are essential to our living.

Music, art, any enlivening religious or spiritual practice, reflection, and silence, all can meet these needs.

Still Place is a space to nurture the body and spirit; a place for quiet, rest, solitude, and prayer in the middle of our city.

Still Place hopes to be a place of welcome for every person–all genders, all sexualities, all races, all abilities, all spiritual traditions.
